About Wendy Wallis Williams

Owner/Designer Wendy Wallis Williams, whose wealth of experience in the interior design industry spans nearly 10 years, is preparing for the grand opening of her Scottsdale, AZ-based home interior fashions boutique, Wallis Designs.

While spending time decorating her home in Paradise Valley, AZ in January of 2006, Wallis Williams quickly noticed that metropolitan Phoenix was an up-and-coming market in the home interior industry and was in much need of enhancing the current styles that existed in this market.

By combining her passion for interior design, home furnishing fashions and the knowledge of the independent boutique trend that is currently sweeping the nation, she came up with the idea to open her own home furnishings fashion boutique, Wallis Designs. Her goal is to bring items to the Valley that have that certain Je ne sais quoi? and LA Flair that the furniture market has not yet seen.

As such, she is the design element behind Wallis Designs. Her knowledge extends from a degree in Interior Design in 2001 from Chelsea Design School in London to the styling of homes in London, Portugal, New York and Scottsdale.

She received an MBA from international business school Huron University in England in 1996 and has a B.S. in Finance from Arizona State University that she received 1992.

In addition to her achievements in the interior design industry, Wallis Williams spends a lot of time volunteering for community projects. She is currently an active member of the Red Chair Project in Rye, NY. She assists with all interior design aspects for this community-based organization, which is a mini version of an extreme home makeover where volunteers clean and repaint houses, and acquire new home furnishings and accessories for those in need.

Wallis Designs is an industry partner of American Society of Interior Design (ASID).

A native of Phoenix, 36 year-old Wallis Williams currently resides in Rye, NY and Paradise Valley, AZ. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her two beautiful children and husband. She also enjoys boating, hiking and playing tennis along the occasional furniture shopping adventure
